There are two versions of the Wireless Receiver covered here:

  • The Wireless Receiver - Programmer with Hot Water Control (UK and Ireland)
*All references to hot water control relate to this device.

  • The Wireless Receiver (EU)

When the Wireless Temperature Sensor and Wireless Receiver lose their radio link, the Wireless Temperature Sensor can’t send temperature measurements to the Wireless Receiver anymore. Also, any changes made to the Wireless Temperature Sensor’s settings won't take effect until the radio link is reconnected.

How to manually control the Wireless Receiver without a radio link.

When the Wireless Receiver hasn’t gotten a room temperature update from the Wireless Temperature Sensor, it will continue to operate with the last settings received from the Wireless Temperature Sensor until the link is repaired, or you make a manual change.

When the radio connection is lost, you can manually switch heating and hot water on or off directly on the Wireless Receiver.

When the connection to the Wireless Temperature Sensor is lost, the connection LED on the Wireless Receiver will blink.

Check the error LED.

If the error LED is blinking the same way as the connection LED, it means that the device will keep the last heating temperature set before the connection was lost.

The heating and hot water LEDs show the last recorded state before the radio link was interrupted and can either be solid on or off.

The Wireless Receiver - Programmer with Hot Water Control (UK and Ireland):

The Wireless Receiver (EU):

Turn heating and hot water on

If you want to turn the heating to permanently on, please press the main button.

Depending on the device’s configuration, the hot water will also be set to permanently on.

The error, heating and hot water LEDs will then be solid on at all times. The device will keep the heating and hot water on.

The Wireless Receiver - Programmer with Hot Water Control (UK and Ireland):

The Wireless Receiver (EU):

Turn heating and hot water off

You can turn the heating permanently off by pressing the main button again. Depending on the configuration of the device, the hot water will also be set to permanently off.

The error LED light will be off, there will be no heating or hot water preparation.

The Wireless Receiver - Programmer with Hot Water Control (UK and Ireland):

The Wireless Receiver (EU):

Note: You will only be able to use these control options in the following cases:

  • If the Wireless Receiver has not received a temperature reading for more than 30 minutes.

  • If you restart the device and a connection with the Wireless Temperature Sensor has not yet been made.
