How can I make sure that all my tado° devices are up to date?

You may notice that your devices have different firmware versions installed on them. This is because each device updates to the latest firmware version available for its specific model.

To update to the latest firmware, the devices need to be connected to the tado° servers. Then, the latest firmware is automatically downloaded and installed. You don’t need to take any action to start this update. If you have a Smart AC Control, please ensure that the device is plugged in and connected to the internet while the update is taking place.

Depending on your geographical location, the update can take some time. Also, as only one device can be updated at a time, it will take a while before all your devices are up-to-date.

To check your device’s firmware version, please do the following:

  1. Go to Settings > Rooms & Devices in your tado° app.

  2. Choose the respective device from the list.
