How can I move a Smart Radiator Thermostat or Wireless Temperature Sensor to a different room in my tado° Home?

To move your Smart Radiator Thermostats or Wireless Temperature Sensor from one room to another, go to your tado° app and follow the steps below:

Go to Settings > Rooms & Devices.
Select the device you would like to move.
Select the name of the room where the device is installed at the moment to display the list of existing tado° rooms.
Select which of these rooms you would like to move the device to.
Confirm your choice.

If removing a device leaves a room in the tado° app empty, that room will automatically be deleted.

Check which device is being moved

To make sure you’re moving the right device, tap on Blink Display once you’ve selected a device from the list. The corresponding Smart Radiator Thermostat’s display will flash 'Hi' helping you identify the device. For the Smart Radiator Thermostat Basic, the dashes next to the temperature markers on the display will turn on and off.
