Do I need a Wireless Temperature Sensor in a room that already has Smart Radiator Thermostats installed?

If your radiators or their valves are not fitted in the most suitable position for the room, or your room is large, it may be that the temperature shown in the tado° app may be much higher than the actual room temperature. This is because the Smart Radiator Thermostat measures the temperature right next to the radiator.

In such cases, you can make tado° take into account the difference between the actual and the measured temperature. This is called the temperature offset, and you can adjust it in the app.

However, to achieve a more accurate reading, you can install a Wireless Temperature Sensor in a more central location in the room. This will measure and control the room temperature from that point. It also acts as a centralised manual controller for the Smart Radiator Thermostats in the room if needed.
