If the tado° app says that the Smart AC Control cannot be found, you are most likely not connected to the wireless access point created by the device (tadoXXXX).
When a smartphone or computer is connected to the Smart AC Control, it shows two arrows on its display.
If not, a unique 4-digit code (XXXX) will be shown on the display of your Smart AC Control.
If the Smart AC Control shows the 4-digit code, go to Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone or computer and connect to the Wi-Fi network named tadoXXXX as explained in the articles below:

Please note: The wireless access point created by the Smart AC Control has no internet access. Some smartphones do not allow connection to such networks. If you’re experiencing problems connecting to the wireless access point, please make sure that your mobile data is turned off and try again.
