For Geofencing to work properly, we recommend that you remove any mobile devices that are no longer in use from your account.

To delete a mobile device, please do the following in the tado° app:

  1. Go to Settings > People.

  2. Select that user’s name to see all the devices registered to them.

  3. Select the device you wish to remove, then

  4. select Remove Device. Once done, you will no longer see that device on your Geofencing screen, and its location will no longer be included in Geofencing.

Make sure you don’t revoke access of the user, but only remove the mobile device in question. Alternatively, you can completely remove a user that’s no longer part of your household.
