Even if you are not manually interacting with the device, its display may wake up. This occurs whenever you trigger a manual change from the App and is called a Dazzle Mode.
Dazzle Mode allows the device's display to light up and show the setpoint and setpoint change.
This Mode is available for tado° Smart Radiator Thermostat V3+, Smart Thermostat V3+, and Wireless Temperature Sensor V3+.
Please note: When the battery is depleted, Dazzle Mode is not available.
How to enable/disable Dazzle Mode?
To enable/disable Dazzle Mode, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Rooms & Devices
Select the respective device.
Toggle Dazzle Mode on or off.
Please note: Dazzle Mode will only work on the Measuring Device of the room in your tado° Home.

Is Dazzle Mode available when using tado° only with Smart Home integrations?
No. When the device is only installed via a Smart Home integration, Dazzle Mode will not be activated.
It can only be enabled once you start using the tado° app.
