Battery optimization settings can block data transmission between your mobile phone and tado° and therefore adversely affect the accuracy of tado°’s Geofencing Skill.
On Samsung phones with Android 7 (Nougat), Android 8 (Oreo), Android 9 (Pie) and Android 10, apps are by default unprotected from the sleep and battery optimization functions.
To turn these default settings off for the tado° app, follow these step-by-step instructions.
