Battery optimization settings can block data transmission between your mobile phone and tado° and therefore adversely affect the accuracy of tado°’s Geofencing.
On Samsung phones with Android 8 or higher, apps are by default unprotected from the sleep and battery optimization functions.
To turn these default settings off for the tado° app, follow these step-by-step instructions.
