You can subscribe to Balance for Heat Pumps either monthly or annually, with the option to cancel at any time. The first 12 months of Balance is included in your Heat Pump Connector purchase.
To subscribe, follow these steps in the app:
Go to the Home screen.
Select Balance.
Choose your preferred plan and select Start now.
Setting up Balance for Heat Pumps
Balance for Heat Pumps relies on the schedules you have set for heating and hot water*. You can make changes to your schedules in the tado° app at any point.
Once you have started your Balance subscription, it will automatically activate and begin working with your heat pump.
In the tado° app, you can select the Balance icon to find a daily optimization report and settings to toggle Balance ON / OFF for your heating and hot water. It is toggled ON by default.
Your price region will be automatically set based on your home address.
*The Hot Water option will only appear if your heat pump controls domestic hot water.
