How can I unsubscribe from the tado° Smart Charging App?

If you want to delete your tado° account permanently:

Before you delete the tado° Smart Charging App from your device, please delete your account via the settings first from the app:

  • Open the tado° Smart Charging App

  • Go to "settings"

  • Click "Account"

  • and Click "Delete Account"

If you are struggling with the steps above, please contact us with a data removal request. Your personal data will be deleted according to GDPR guidelines. Tap the round orange icon in the bottom right-hand corner to open a chat.

How to disconnect your car from the tado° Smart Charging App:

If you delete your tado° account, your car is disconnected automatically.

If you want to keep your tado° account, but want to disconnect your car, please follow these steps:

  • Open the tado° Smart Charging App

  • Go to your Settings screen

  • Go to "Vehicle"

  • Click "Disconnect"

  • Click "Save"
