tado° works with most boilers. The only requirement for tado° to work with your boiler is that it communicates in a language that tado° can understand and process.

One of the most common ways in which thermostats communicate with boilers is through simple relay (on/off) connections. tado° is compatible with almost all boilers that support relay connections.

For relay systems, the heating system turns on (100%) or off (0%) completely for specific time cycles based on the heat request.
