The batteries in my Smart Thermostat or Smart Radiator Thermostat have run out. How can I replace the batteries?

When the batteries in your Smart Thermostat run out, you can replace them with three fresh AAA alkaline batteries (LR03). Your Smart Radiator Thermostat requires two AA alkaline batteries (LR6).

Please bear in mind the following when replacing the batteries:

  • Only buy alkaline batteries (LR03 / LR6). While having the same form factor R03 / R6 zinc-carbon batteries are not suitable for use with the Smart Thermostat because of their low capacity.
  • When replacing batteries in the Smart Thermostat, for safety reasons, please make sure to turn the power supply to the heating system off before removing the front cover of the Smart Thermostat.
  • Place the new alkaline batteries into your device's battery slot taking care to align the positive (+) and negative (-) polarities correctly, as shown on the diagram inside the battery compartment.
