My Smart AC Control shows error E01. What does this mean and how can it be solved?

When error E01 is shown on the Smart AC Control display, a timeout has occurred while connecting to the Wi-Fi network. The Smart AC Control will go back into the access point mode after displaying the error and you can try again to connect to the network. In most cases the connection fails due to an incorrect Wi-Fi password. When you see error E01, do the following:

  1. Wait until the Smart AC Control shows 4 digits again. This indicates that it is back in the access point mode. Re-enter your Wi-Fi credentials and pay special attention to lower and uppercase letters and correct spelling of both the network name as well as the password. Submit the data to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  2. Check that your Wi-Fi is activated and working by checking Wi-Fi access on other devices or by checking the router.

Tip: You can always control the AC by using your old remote control if your Wi-Fi network is temporarily unavailable.
