While I am installing tado° I get an error code shown on the digital display of my boiler. What can I do?

For some boiler models, it is perfectly normal that an error code is shown after the wiring has been finished and the power has been switched back on but the tado° Smart Thermostat has not yet connected to the tado° Bridge.

  • Please make sure that you have finished the online installation assistant completely and get the message 'installation completed' on the workflow screen.
  • If the installation is completed and the error code does not disappear after a while, please switch the boiler off and on to perform a reset.
