What do the different levels of heat request in the app and the report tell me about when the boiler has been on and off?

Depending on your heating system, the tado° heat request is translated into a control signal that operates the boiler and/or radiator or floor heating valve:

For a radiator controlled zone the heat request corresponds to the levels of a conventional radiator thermostat opening state.

For heating systems controlled through a relay (on/off) signal, the request is translated into a “call for heat” with a varying duration. At a high heat request level the relay is closed more often and for a longer time than for a low heat request level.

Digitally controlled heating systems receive the proportional heat request directly in form of a modulated flow temperature.
