To edit the settings of a time block, click/tap on the time block to see detailed settings.

When editing the time block, you can choose the start and end time. If the new block’s time range overlaps with existing time blocks, the app will automatically adjust or delete the existing time blocks accordingly.

On this screen, you can:

Choose if you want your heating to be on or off

If you set your heating to off, tado° sets your system to frost protection (5 °C). If you set your heating to on, you can set your preferred temperature for the time block.

Set the start and end time of the block

You can also do this directly on the Smart Schedule. Just click/tap and drag the time block left or right.

Please note: the starting point of the first time block and endpoint of the last time block are fixed and cannot be changed.

You can do this by going to Advanced Settings on this screen. Geofencing is enabled for every time block by default. Read more about what happens when Geofencing is enabled or disabled for a time block here.

Delete the time block
You can also do this directly on the Smart Schedule. Just click/tap and hold on the time block, then drag it to the right until a dustbin icon pops up, and release.
